GeloMyrtol 300 mg is used for acute and chronic bronchitis as well as inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (sinusitis).
It thins thick mucus, promotes natural clearance, and makes coughing easier. The airways are cleared, pressure in the head is reduced, and coughing fits are alleviated. The plant-based active ingredient combination acts as an expectorant and has been clinically proven to quickly improve symptoms. In chronic cases, GeloMyrtol 300 mg also reduces frequent exacerbations of the illness.
Destillatum 300 mg ex: eucalypti aetheroleum rectificatum, aurantii dulcis aetheroleum rectificatum, limonis aetheroleum rectificatum, myrti aetheroleum rectificatum (66:32:1:1); E 420, natrii laurilsulfas, excipiens pro capsula.
For acute, inflammatory conditions, adults take 1 enteric-coated soft capsule 3–4 times daily. Children aged 4–5 years take 1 enteric-coated soft capsule 1–2 times daily, children aged 6–11 years take 1 enteric-coated soft capsule 1–3 times daily, and adolescents aged 12 years and older take 1 enteric-coated soft capsule 3–4 times daily.
For chronic conditions, adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older take 1 enteric-coated soft capsule twice daily. This dosage is also recommended for long-term treatment. To facilitate morning expectoration in chronic bronchitis, an additional enteric-coated soft capsule of GeloMyrtol 300 mg can be taken in the evening before bedtime. Children aged 4–5 years take 1 enteric-coated soft capsule once daily, and children aged 6–11 years take 1 enteric-coated soft capsule 1–2 times daily.
GeloMyrtol 300 mg enteric-coated soft capsules should be taken half an hour before meals, unchewed, with plenty of cold liquid.
Use in children under 10 years only on medical prescription. Not suitable for infants and children under 4 years.
