Alpinamed uses fresh, hand-picked Scandinavian lingonberries of the highest quality for extract production. Unlike juices or powdered extracts made from dried berries, the Alpinamed lingonberry extract contains the bioactive compounds from the whole berry, including the skin and seeds. Both the berry skin and seeds are particularly rich in valuable constituents. The lingonberries used by Alpinamed grow naturally in Scandinavia (wild growth). Harvesting is done carefully by hand, leaving the bushes unharmed and preventing soil compaction from heavy machinery. The lingonberries grow naturally without fertilization or pesticides. Over the centuries, this has produced polyphenol-rich varieties that are resilient and perfectly adapted to their natural environment.

The selection of raw materials and the production process are subject to a rigorous testing and quality assurance procedure. Before the finished product is released to the market, it undergoes a multi-stage laboratory-analytical quality control process.
1 sachet contains 2 g pure D-Mannose and 1.5 g native full lingonberry extract from 15 g fresh berries (Vaccinium vitis-idaea; origin: Scandinavia); magnesium hydrogen citrate, carrier: maltodextrin; vitamin C, sweetener: stevia extract; anti-caking agent: calcium silicate.
To be consumed hot or cold
For short-term use in adults: 1 sachet 3× daily for 5 days. For preventive (long-term) use: either 1 sachet 3× daily for 5 days each month, or 1 sachet daily over a longer period. Pour the contents of one sachet into a glass of cold or warm water, stir until completely dissolved, and drink. The naturally cloudy preparation has a typically tart taste.
