Alpinamed OPC-Defenseplus Capsules are a food supplement developed after five years of intensive research in collaboration with the European University of Cyprus. These capsules feature an innovative manufacturing process: during extraction, the valuable oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) are protected by the antioxidant properties of rosehip extract. They are then immediately encapsulated under oxygen-free conditions, preserving the active ingredients at their highest concentration.
Each Alpinamed OPC-Defenseplus Capsule contains 385 mg grape seed–rosehip extract with 150 mg OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins), astaxanthin, trans-resveratrol, as well as vitamins C and E. Vitamin C contributes to protecting cells from oxidative stress and supports normal collagen formation, which is important for the normal function of blood vessels, cartilage, skin, teeth, gums, bones, and also supports a normal immune system.
